Mass-O and the Hub
The Mass-O orbits a triad star system. The stars were named by humans as Antony, Cleo and Octavius.
The Hub does NOT orbit the Mass-O. By means of a method not yet understood by Merge scientists, it is always locked in the shadow of the Mass-O.

The Hub does not rotate. It is always in the shadow from the triad stars. Gravity is always "down" towards the Mass-O.
The Origin 5 races first built simple construction on the surface of the Hub.
Over time, massive platforms were built, each with dozens of levels.
Over thousands of years, Hub construction developed even further, until the end of the First Cycle when it was suddenly abandoned.
