Anuuk Beliefs

The main belief system of the Anuuk was based around Manik, the god of sacrifice. 

The Anuuk had a heavy bias toward planet Manik. Undergoing irreversible body augmentation became a ritualistic offering of sacrifice to Manik and was often a mark of one’s status or individual rank within their societal system. This system eventually gave way to “the first” (Yoza) becoming dictators over their species.

From what we understand, with these augmentations they started to see themselves as Gods and looked down upon others of their kind that were not of the same stature in terms of the number of augmentations.

Recorded data retrieved by scientists show that a natural divide grew within their species, whereby those Anuuk with fewer augmentations eventually became slaves and were forced to gather minerals and resources for the benefit of the Yoza.

Some examples of these additions to their bodies are those which grant exoskeletal strength, weaponry, visual enhancement, and auto-integration into large tech vehicles. The Anuuk went to great lengths to develop and experiment with new augmentations, to the point where some were unrecognizable. More data on the Anuuk is still being collected.

Further data is still to be decrypted from the Anuuk tech. The relics with any significance are suspected to be in the possession of the Rezeev, but this is only hearsay. The most vital extraction of data to date has been the schematics for interplanetary ships. This has helped advance the technology of space travel at an accelerated rate for the Ceilenuuk and all Ceilefians.
